We want you to be confident in trying Social Script Builder. This Refund Policy explains when refunds are available, how to request one, and what is and is not refundable.

## 1. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a **30-day money-back guarantee** on all paid plans. If you are not satisfied with Social Script Builder for any reason within 30 days of your initial purchase, contact us and we will refund the amount paid, less any third-party payment processing fees that are non-recoverable.
This applies to:
– **Pro Monthly** ($19.99/month) — full refund of your first month’s payment if requested within 30 days of the initial charge
– **Pro Annual** ($149/year) — full refund of the annual payment if requested within 30 days of the initial charge
– **Lifetime** ($497 one-time) — full refund if requested within 30 days of purchase
## 2. After the 30-Day Window
**Monthly Subscriptions:** After 30 days, we do not refund prior or current monthly payments. You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges. After cancellation, you will retain Pro access through the end of your current billing period.
**Annual Subscriptions:** After 30 days, we do not refund the unused portion of your annual subscription. You may cancel at any time, and you will retain Pro access through the end of your annual term.
**Lifetime Purchases:** After 30 days, lifetime purchases are non-refundable.
## 3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email us at ** billing@socialscriptbuilder.com ** with:
– The email address associated with your account
– The date of purchase
– The amount and plan purchased
– A brief reason for the refund (optional but appreciated — it helps us improve)
We will process eligible refunds within **5–10 business days** to the original payment method.
## 4. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through:
– Your account settings within the Social Script Builder app, or
– The customer portal link in any of your billing emails from us, or
– Emailing ** billing@socialscriptbuilder.com ** with a cancellation request
Cancellation stops future billing. Cancellation alone is not a refund request — if you also want a refund of a recent payment, please specify that in your message.
## 5. Free Trial Cancellation
If you started a 7-day Pro trial and did not enter payment information, you will not be charged. The trial simply ends, and your account reverts to the free tier. There is nothing to cancel.
## 6. Promotional Pricing and Discount Codes
Discounted purchases (made with a promotion code, sale, or special offer) are eligible for refunds at the discounted price paid, not the full retail price. Promotional pricing offered to a current subscriber does not retroactively refund prior payments at full price.
## 7. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:
– The refund request is made more than 30 days after the relevant charge
– The account has been terminated for violation of our [Terms of Service] ( https://socialscriptbuilder.com/terms)
– The account shows evidence of bad-faith use (creating multiple accounts to repeatedly claim the 30-day refund, automated/script-based usage, etc.)
– Refund requests for prior billing periods on a current monthly subscription (we will refund only the most recent payment, if within the 30-day window)
## 8. Disputes and Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first at ** billing@socialscriptbuilder.com ** before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Most issues can be resolved quickly. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us may result in account suspension while the dispute is reviewed.
## 9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy with a new “Last Updated” date. Material changes will be communicated by email to active subscribers at least 14 days before they take effect. Changes do not retroactively affect refund rights for purchases made under the prior policy.
